Please uninstall and remove the previous version completely, and then upload, install and activate the version 2.0
How to install this plugin?
Just upload and install from wordpress admin dashboard like any other plugin, Click activate and that’s all.
Will it show meta decription on WordPress Posts or Pages?
Yes, it will show meta description automatically on all WordPress Posts and Pages from the content.
Why I cannot see any changes?
Sometimes on a new or fresh installation the plugins, take some time to be fully activated, due to the server cache and dns settings, for example on a lightspeed server it may take sometime to show any changes to the website, it is best to reset or clear lightspeed plugin or server cache files and wait for few hours to couple of days before your website is fully functional. In most cases the different cache plugins cause some issues, so try deactivating and clearing the cache plugin and wait for few hours or couple of days. You can consult with your hosting service to help you but waiting for couple of days after the mentioned step will greatly help you, especially on a fresh and new wordpress installations.
Can I disable meta description on Homepage/Frontpage?
Yes, you can disable the meta description generated by the plugin on the Homepage/Frontpage, while showing meta description for all WordPress Posts and Pages. Visit WordPress Admin Dashboard>Settings>Auto Meta Description. By deactivating the plugin for Homepage/Frontpage you can set a custom meta description for that using other means.
